Energy efficiency in high-performance buildings including labs, clean rooms and data centers is no longer an option. SynapSense has partnered with the Silicon Valley Leadership Group to provide its WSN technology as the benchmark of energy efficiency for the Leadership Groups' members' data centers. These case studies are part of the Leadership Group's Green IT project, which includes approximately 30 Silicon Valley end users and governmental organizations such as the Lawrence Berkeley National Labs, the California Energy Commission, San Francisco Bay Area universities, local power utilities and technology corporations.

In the data center for example, where energy costs can be 100 times that of a normal building, the SynapSense Wireless Green Data Center Solution measures power usage at the rack level and the room level to enable you to efficiently match your IT load to your cooling capacity.   For data centers and other facilities that have maximized their available energy footprint, utilization of the SynapSense Wireless Solutions can enable an increase of site capacity of up to 20%.
