Energy Efficiency
SynapSense provides a breakthrough, critical energy efficiency solution that helps companies measure and manage their energy utilization and global carbon footprint.
Energy efficiency and energy savings are quickly becoming a ‘must have’ in high-performance buildings such as labs, clean rooms and data centers. Today, virtually all facilities with critical thermal targets over-cool their environments to ensure adequate operational guard bands, however, over-cooling costs millions of dollars. Without the operational granularity to safely reduce the guard band and more tightly maintain their thermal target, energy efficiency has had to take a backseat to reliability for some companies. To improve the energy efficiency in these environments, operating conditions need to be measured in real-time data. Operators need to be able to aggregate the data for analysis of efficiency improvements in a cost effective way. In facilities, wired instrumentation is not only expensive but potentially disruptive.
