Simple, Non-Invasive Installation
Unlike other major data center updates and changes, SynapSense nearly eliminates all risks commonly associated with hardware and software installation. Our non-invasive installation process does not disrupt data center power or operations. One key advantage of wireless sensor technology is that it can be placed in any facility without pulling cable, without connecting to multiple company servers, and without penetrating the sub-floor or ceiling. The SynapSense Solution easily configures and interfaces with existing equipment, and does not require interruption of the existing data center infrastructure.
Hardware Installation: At the time of installation, our expert deployment team attaches wireless sensor devices on external cabinets based on a site installation plan configured with each customer. Even then, our hardware installation methods allow us to be flexible and our wireless sensor positions can be adjusted to meet each customer's unique data center needs. A Facilities Engineer is NOT required on site for installation.
Software Installation: Except for brief access to a single server, an IT representative is also NOT required to be on site at the time of installation. Our deployment team uses one server which is connected to the SynapSense network, making software installation as simple as it can be.
Installation Time Frame: Standard environmental monitoring installation (including hardware and software installation) takes about 4-5 days in a typical 50,000 square foot data center. This time frame may vary depending on the needs of the customer and the size of the data center.
Solution Training: Once installation is complete in your data center, the SynapSense Team provides training on our Solution in your environment. Customers often immediately begin adjusting and testing the data center environment based on the real-time data available minutes following installation.
