SynapSense Real Time Imaging Application to Drive Energy Efficiency in the Data Center

April 29, 2008.  SynapSense™ Corporation, a provider of wireless instrumentation solutions, today introduced SynapSoft™ 4.0 featuring LiveImaging™ that provides the world’s first real-time images of data center conditions for optimizing cooling, power and operational efficiencies. The SynapSoft 4.0 solution was unveiled at the Uptime Institute’s Symposium 2008 being held this week in Orlando, Fla.

Additionally, SynapSense uses the solution to compile complete assessments of data center operations for customers, providing them with a baseline of information that can be analyzed to fine-tune cooling and information technology (IT) loads moving forward.

Also featuring 24-hour monitoring, a global operations view and a sophisticated alert and alarm system, the complete solution notifies data center operators when conditions are deteriorating and adjustments can be made.
SynapSoft 4.0 with LiveImaging is now available to enterprise customers, and SynapSense will provide additional software advancements this year that will help further improve data center energy efficiency and optimize power management.
