The Firmware Test Engineer will be a member of our systems team working on the devices that support the SynapSense Monitoring and Energy Management Solution, contributing their skills and abilities to the commercial release of current and future products. The Firmware Test Engineer will be involved the development and ongoing maintenance of test software/firmware for new and existing products from inception to end-of-life. This is a highly technical role requiring experience in software/firmware development as well as electronic and RF product engineering. This position requires an understanding of test development and execution for electronic products.  At least 2 years of work experience in test engineering for an electronic company or manufacturer is required.

The Product Marketing Analyst directs the marketing activities of one or more products or product lines within the organization. He/she will oversee product lifecycles from initial proposal through production and sales and identify trends in the marketplace when suggesting new products or product enhancements. He/she will be involved in producing product projections in order to ensure that the strategic direction of a product is in line with overall company goals and objectives.  He/she will work closely with sales and other product marketing team members to understand customer needs and develop market-driven Requirements Specifications for new product introductions or enhancements to existing product lines. They will advise sales and marketing on any relevant product concerns and provides works closely with engineering organization to ensure that market requirements are thoroughly understood and accurately implemented.

The Firmware Engineer will be a member of our systems team working on the devices that support the SynapSense Monitoring and Energy Management Solution, contributing their skills and abilities to the commercial release of current and future products. The Firmware Engineer will be involved in designing products to market requirements, as well as supporting current products.  This is a highly technical role requiring experience in embedded software / firmware development.  This position requires an understanding of the firmware development life cycle and technical skills for implementation of wireless products.  At least 3 years of work experience in embedded software / firmware development for an electronic company or manufacturer is required.

SynapSense has an open position for a graduate with a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or similar job experience. The position is for a Project Engineer, reporting to the Director of Engineering Services. As a Project Engineer, this individual will take the lead on visiting customer data centers to conduct audits to determine current environmental and energy use data as well as to verify the mechanical and electrical infrastructure components. The Project Engineer will be responsible for creating full design solutions for the implementation of the SynapSense environmental monitoring and control systems. This role will require extensive travel throughout the United States and possibly internationally. This position in not geographically specific and candidates from all regions of the United States will be considered.

The right Project Manager candidate is a teamplayer with a strong technical background and a professional customer service attitude. The person is self-motivated and available for significant amounts of travel.

SynapSense Corporation is looking for an outstanding, controls project engineer to join our fast-paced, energetic environment. The Software Engineer will be a member of our multi-cultural software development team working on the SynapSense Monitoring and Energy Management Solution. Contributing their skills and abilities to the commercial release of current and future products. The Software Engineer may be involved in defining compelling new features, implementing core application logic or building intuitive user interfaces. This role will also be responsible for writing high-level design documents, participating in code reviews and performance optimization efforts as well as troubleshooting software defects as part of a multisite / multinational product development organization. 

The successful candidate will play a key role in the development, implementation and execution of a system test strategy for SynapSense products. You will be part of a team responsible for ensuring that all components of the system (i.e., hardware, network firmware, applications) work together to form a cohesive customer solution.
